2tsp vanilla sugar
To cover the cake pan:
a dab of margarin
Put the oven on 175C (350F). Butter the pan and coat it with a thin layer of breadcrumbs. Melt the butter and let it sit and cool. Crack the eggs into a bowl. Add the sugar and whisk until fluffy and white. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and vanilla sugar. Add this mix to the other one, and stir until smooth. Pour into the cake form.
Bake in the bottom of the oven for 40 to 50 minutes. When the cake comes out, let it cool before taking it out of the form.
The filling I use for the cake is jam. I coat it in whipping cream, and sometimes put chocolate and/or fruits and berries at the top. For the Princess Cake, put a thick (2-3cm) layer of whipped cream on the top, and roll out the marzipan, then put it over the cake so it is smooth. Here are some pictures for help: oops.
